This page explains what data L2 Nostalgia collects when you use the website and the game, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Your email address and a display name when you create an account; the email you use with Google or Discord if you sign in that way; the game accounts you create or link; your IP address and a hardware identifier when you log in to the game, used to enforce the rules and to protect accounts; the amount and date of donations. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
Why
To run your account and the game, to deliver what you buy, to prevent abuse (bots, multi-boxing beyond the limit, fraud) and to answer your requests. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long
As long as your account exists. Login logs are kept for 90 days. Payment records are kept for the time required by tax law.
Who sees it
Only the server staff, and the providers strictly needed to run the service: Stripe for payments, our email provider for account emails, Cloudflare for delivery and protection. All of them process data under their own privacy terms.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected]. Deleting the website account does not delete game accounts unless you ask for it.
